Do I need to speak Mandarin?
Not at all. Every experience is hosted in clear English and designed for international visitors. No Mandarin and no prior experience required.
How do I pay? My foreign cards don’t work everywhere in China.
That’s exactly why we make it easy. You can book and pay in advance with a normal international credit card — either direct on our site or through trusted platforms like Viator, GetYourGuide, Klook and Trip.com. No Chinese bank account, WeChat Pay or Alipay needed.
I’m only in Beijing on a visa-free transit. Is that enough time?
Yes. China’s 240-hour (10-day) visa-free transit covers 55 nationalities, and most of our experiences run 1.5–3 hours — easy to slot into a short stay. Our Beijing guides include a calm plan for transit visitors.
How big are the groups?
Small by design — capped at 8 to 10 guests, and often fewer. You’ll get real hands-on attention from your host.
Can I get a confirmation immediately?
Yes. All first-batch experiences offer instant confirmation, so you’ll know your spot is secured the moment you book.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Weather-dependent experiences (like cycling) are fully refundable or reschedulable if we have to cancel.
Where do experiences meet?
Each experience has a central Beijing meeting point, shared with you when you book. We choose easy-to-reach locations near the subway wherever possible.
Are experiences suitable for children or older travelers?
Most are. Fan painting, tea and qigong suit all ages; cycling and the medicine experience have a minimum age. Each experience page lists its age guidance.
Can you arrange a private or custom session?
Often, yes — including for families or special requests. Use the “Request this experience” button or email us and we’ll see what’s possible.
Will I need a VPN or special apps?
No. Booking with us works on the regular international internet before and during your trip. We’ll send everything you need by email.
